Players will be using color theory to explore the planets. The three primary planets correspond to Red, Yellow, and Blue which match the dice. Players can use the dice individually or pair the dice to create secondary colors: Purple, Orange, and Green.
Each planet will only allow certain dice ships to land though so exploring the planets can be tricky. Additionally, Star Bridges have to be created to allow that exploration. In order to explore the player will need to create those bridges with the dice matching planets they have been able to explore. The unused dice will create demand at a secondary planet or at two primary planets.
Players will play simultaneously utilizing the dice rolled. Clever selection of the dice will grant the players greater exploration possibilities. With the game only lasting 25 turns, each selection of the dice will be more and more tactical.

Introducing: Frayed Tempus, a game across time. The game is currently being playtested under my direction, but it is ready for unguided playtesting with experienced PbtA GMs. If you or someone you know is interested, you can drop me a line at sarah@biggirlgames.net.
I’m also really excited to announce the artwork will be created by Unveiling Anne Art out of Mississippi. The initial sketches and painted designs are amazing. I’m including our very first sketch here. The painted version will be the artwork for one of the playbooks, and the character will be used throughout the book.
Watch my Bluesky and Tiktok accounts for ongoing updates over the next few months, and be ready for a Kickstarter or Backerkit crowdfunding campaign in early 2026.

Want to become part of the game itself? Choose the “Become a Royal” reward tier and our artist will immortalise you as one of the royal characters in the game — your likeness will be included in every copy of Fight For Inheritance!
Curious about how the game came to life? I was recently interviewed by the What If Games blog! If you’d like to learn more about Fight For Inheritance and my development journey, you can read the full article here: www.whatifgames.co.uk/from-dream-to-design-hasan-on-crafting-fight-for-inheritance/
If you love the sound of a strategic, cutthroat battle for power and legacy, we’d be hugely grateful for your support. Back Fight For Inheritance on Kickstarter now

The UK Games Expo was phenomenal as always, Malus Hortus got a lot of wonderful attention as well as my previous games and new accessories. I’m really looking forward to next year when I’ll have Malus Hortus stock with me to both demonstrate and sell.
At the top of my UKGE highlights list it is always the people I get to see, the friends I only see once a year, the cosplayers who always brighten my day and the little interactions throughout the weekend that make the preparation time for the event worthwhile.

One huge highlight was a young girl who wanted a very specific pair of earrings that I didn’t have with me. As it was the Friday I had the time to make those earrings in the hotel room that night and she was just so happy to receive them on Saturday morning that she wanted a photo with me.
Another amazing moment for me was a group of friends who bought two of my mint tin games, went away to play them and came back to tell me how much they loved them and to get me to sign them.
Then there were the people who bought bags and belts because they needed them there and then. I love being able to instantly solve a problem someone has. The best of which was someone struggling with a huge box and my husband suggested he needed a bag, he bet that if my new canvas bags – which say “My Big Bag of Beautiful Board Games” – would fit, he’d buy one. I did my best when sourcing these bags to make them fit a couple of good-sized big box games but didn’t expect this mammoth game to fit, but it did! Perfectly!
I did a few little videos that I believe are now Instagram reels with people like Becky (mrsgetintogames) and Nerd OD for their roll & pitch videos.
As always there are people I didn’t see there who I wish I had time to track down at the time, there are always people I miss across the weekend, I hope to see them next year or at some event in between!
